Theres a few of em in the wider circuit too Nick (no taste ) that aren't keen, but I reckon its a brill track and like you say one that fills the floor, bet the buggers wished they had bought it back then, as its gone up in price a tad or two since....lol i remember the days when james coit filled the floor, oh, yeah and joe 90.... don't mean it's got soul ...... just saying Mick, not sure what you're getting at there. Surely not comparing Baby Earl with the rubbish you've mentioned? ________________ Got a few things to say: Not been online this week because of p c troubles, and when I did get mobile again I saw the tragic news of the death of a dear friend.. Linda Core from Kettering. Took the wind out of my sails a bit. Nick, I hope you are recovering well mate. That track's been played longer than that... I heard Jodie play it at an R&B nighter at least three years ago. The sort of record that can appeal to followers of several different genres. Glenn, well done for putting on a great night last Saturday... loved every minute. Will get some sort of playlist together shortly,, sorry it's late - see reasons above. Dawn, good to see you and Trev there! Your enthusiasm is brilliant, same goes for your friend Kate. I'm impressed with the vid you put together, good choice of background track. Nice review of the night too. Doug... it's always a pleasure to see you enjoying the Ad lib nights. You've forgotten more about this type of event and its' music than most of us can hope to know. JJ.. can't you get a visa out of Cleethorpes? I know you would have enjoyed this night.

Always ladies first, "Kath and Doug " looks Better and sounds Better like me and my sister her names Kathleen reminds me of that great song Mum used to sing, Can I take you home again Kathleen in fact heres the full lyrics *********************** I'll take you home again, Kathleen Across the ocean wild and wide To where your heart has ever been Since you were first my bonnie bride. The roses all have left your cheek. I've watched them fade away and die Your voice is sad when e'er you speak And tears bedim your loving eyes. Oh! I will take you back, Kathleen To where your heart will feel no pain And when the fields are fresh and green I'II take you to your home again! I know you love me, Kathleen, dear Your heart was ever fond and true. I always feel when you are near That life holds nothing, dear, but you. The smiles that once you gave to me I scarcely ever see them now Though many, many times I see A dark'ning shadow on your brow. To that dear home beyond the sea My Kathleen shall again return. And when thy old friends welcome thee Thy loving heart will cease to yearn. Where laughs the little silver stream Beside your mother's humble cot And brightest rays of sunshine gleam There all your grief will be forgot. ***************************** Cheers All Doug Mental institution please stay open going senile its me age
