I know Damian well i done him some soul Cd's the other week,don't know about going on to be a dancer,he drives hgv`s now,i think his last dance involvement was when he disappeared to Wales with Snap(remember him)to enter some dance comp,he didn't do well and gave up after that. If you are Mandy you will have met me through Damian i remember walking home from the casino(to Widnes)we had no money for the train and got caught trying to jump the train anyway we walked with you as far as you lived then carried on. Dean is Dean Webb,i have not seen Dean for years,last i heard he married a Manchester girl in San Francisco and now works down London. Hi I am not Mandy I am Caroline from Bolton I knew Dean Webb well,he had a crush on me at Wigan he was a lovely lad still have a Valentines card he sent and some letters somewhere yes damian was going to be a dancer i as I remember... I remember the name snap but can not place the face I used to spend alot of time with the welsh lot who are you would I remember you??

Snap was from Rhyl,i knew a few of the Welsh crowd because we met up on Bank quay station(Warrington)i was a mate of Chris Richards(Prestatyn)this is Chris in the pic(glasses,red top..i`m sure its him)

I also knocked about with Daz(Irlam) Daz was Mooneys mate,also knocked about with some of the stockport,hazel grove,poynton crowd.
I don't think you will probably remember me..i knew of you but thats it.When i was talking to Damian the other week he told me he had a pic of him and Gaynor from stockport(Gaynor is the girl in the skirt from the onceuponatime pic)taken outside the casino by me and also a little pic of Caroline from bolton...pretty sure he said you,i will try to get him to dig them out.
Which one are you in the pics from rally then caroline....my memory is fading a bit ;D.

I looked at the picture and it looks like one keiths maybe?? he took some photo's and gave them out at the time I had two of his one with helen and brissy from blackburn and paul is sat on the end I had a copy of this photo in my collection paul used to be with a girl called Cat she worked in a crisp factory (seabrook I think) they were good mates with helen swan so I know him through that.... but brissy was from the blackburn lot.. it was really rare for me to be in a photo but somemore may exsist somewhere I took loads in my time and one night took almost everycrowd and gave the copies out the week after, this photo you have added could be one of mine I recognise everyone in the photo but if you asked me to name them it would be impossible it took me ages to realise the person in the picture of me was me!!! god were we ever that young? |

I have looked at that wigan picture form neil and I would deffo ay it is one of keiths Rallys or mine check out the other pictures on keiths same era same pics could be mine given out... but I bet he knows if it is one of his.... do you remember fran and shirl??? full circle skirts... top spinners!!! always danced at the front of the stage I always danced at the front of the stage I sat there most of the time as well.... it seemed most crowds had there own places they sat in boltons on the left widnes lot under the stairs on the right (as you come in... not looking from the stage) I remember the darlington lot sitting at the bottom of the stairs from the ladies loo side.. the boston lot ( I remember someone with the surname Forbes Figgy) stood at the other side but I was never off the dancefloor and out of M.s when it was open (then on the dancefloor) check out with keith if the photo is his he remembers everyone!!!

Yeah i remember fran(stockport) caroline,Mike Kennedy is trying to get back in touch with fran as we speak.
I should be meeting up with Mike at the casino revisited night on the 26 of August(see flyer),i did text Damian but haven't had a reply so i am not sure if he wants to bother.
Caroline i did personal message you....not sure if you even now what a personal message is or know where to find it ;D..look. up top under the soul artists pics and you can see a personal message panel.

who is mike? (nickname?) fran was a top dancer!!! wow could she spin!!! and little shirl the same!! good girls the both of them.... I am finding it hard to remember names but I have looked at photo's and I remember the people in them and where we all sat... I have had real problems with the site and I am useless with computers so I am struggling to work things out..

Mike Kennedy from Warrington(don't think he had a nickname) he was the lad who wore the Celtic top nearly every night at the casino,he was a mate of Mike Greens(Warrington...lad in Rallys pics), he knew and hung around with some of the Stockport lot(including Fran,Nick France,little Janice Stockport,Poynton),plus he knew most of the Widnes lot.
Try to fathom out the personal message facility Caroline ;D.

i remember a shiela she went out with a lad called billy i think. does anyone remember karen mellor from hough green, i think she is a tv producer now! also jenny from skem( looked like jenny hanley ) in a nice sort of way!also maura davenport from manchester( middleton methinks!)
