you should have said you were coming up here you could have came for sunday lunch ;D Hope your grub is better than you beer then I would have done and you could have come for a pint at Primrose Valley with us (only a 2 hour drive), tried the Guinness (it was like wee) tried the Carlsberg (it was like wee too) and caravan was cold. The flippin' Sun offers have a lot to answer for it cost us £18 each for the weekend Only went there by accident, we have relatives in Belton and wanted to see the Angel of the north.

I went to Whitley Bay High School and the last soul night I went to was a few years ago at the Park Hotel in Tynemouth, which is where you should have gone to Nick instead of Whitley Bay.The Guinness in Tynemouth is canny and actually tastes like Guiness, and you are dead right the beer in W/Bay is dreadful. How disapointed were you with The Angel? I think it looks like a badly parked jumbo jet!!!

No it was a charity do run by a bloke I used to work with.It was a skinhead convention and people came from the far flung corners of Europe to be there. It was a ska and soul night and it was brilliant to see all those 50 years old skinheads squeezed into their two tone suits and their braces struggling to keep their pants up over some massive beer bellies. As it happens there is another one on 24 November in aid of charity.
