Well its taken more than 50 years but the earth finally moved for me this morning Must admit I wondered what the hell was happening, at least the house seems to have survived okay they built em to last in the 1800's Hope you all survived unscathed?

Fell asleep watching the telly in bed and woke up about 12.30 to find a film on. I decided to watch it for a while. Shortly after, the bed and the whole building began to shake. Bloody hell what strength was that wine I was drinking!! I live in an old railway station and had once been told about the building being haunted. My immediate thought was f**k me it's a train, and yet the line had closed in 1970. Perhaps it was a very low flying R.A.F jet. Anyway it didn't last long but I immediately got dressed and had a good look round everywhere, but everything seemed o.k. I returned to bed and decided I'd say nothing of the incident for fear that this could be the first symptom of insanity. Soon after 7 the phone rang and Jean, working in London, asked if I'd noticed anything in the night because there had been an earthquake and it was all over the news. Must confess I felt somewhat relieved and confessed that the building had certainly shaken but everything seems fine.

Haunted Railway station? Bloody Hell Chris, have you thought of getting Yvette Fielding and her mates round for a cup of tea? For my part a large chasm opened up in my living room and before I could react thousands of pounds worth of rare soul vinyl fell into the abyss just before it closed leaving no trace. No Honestly, Im just filling in the insurance claim

I'd been woken up by it, thought I must have been dreaming until I got up and heard it in the news.

:)Yep it sure did I was in on my own as the missus and daughter are in Tenerife and the lads in Australia and you know how you hear every creak the house makes. Well I work up with a start and though some bugger was trying to break in. When the above phoned up to check how I was managing without them they thought I was taking the wee and wouldn't believe me

Ey up Steve!! Moved over months ago m8 and its done me fishing no good at all.....but its done me all-nighter going a power of good I even keep bumping into the Wigan crowd AKA Girldancer and Manc and whoeverelse does the rounds over here! You need to get over for Middleton, Lowton, Bury nighters are brilliant as is any of the NCS do's. Oh and if Grimsby put an insurance claim in they would only get 2p! Rick
