i've got a tape from cleethorpes pier 76, and i know everything played apart from one instrumental. the dj introduces it as i think ''the virtues - movies are groovy'' anyone got any ideas what it is? cover up or not? cheers, heath

The only one I can think of is everybody's groovin by Crossfire was well played then but is now being played againa bit

Well identified carl and thanks. I do have the 45 without realising it because I'd only known it as 'Take Me back' by Crossfire. Yes. it's the instrumental of that track. How did you know that the instrumental was the 'a' side? Strange this item. 'Take Me back' V-121674-T and 'Movies Are Groovy' V-121674-M. Surely those final letters are the initial letters of the tracks themselves. I can see no other evidence to identify which is the 'a' side or the 'b' side. I'd personally always go for the vocal as the 'a' side. All irrelevant. It's a very pleasant 70's mid tempo track. Well spotted.

doh, all these years and i have been looking for it thinking it was a cover up title, never mind, i have always been a bit slow, lol i'll have to keep an eye out for a copy, if any one has one please let me know.

thanks to pat brady i now have a copy and for only £20. i have seen it on another site for £50, but if anyone wants a copy, anglo have them for £25. i still prefer the instrumental side, but the vocal is growing on me. thanks again for the help, now what else was i looking for? ?
