Here are a few of the lyrics of a song I heard 27 years on a cassette tape compilation and to this day I dont know the singer or song title can anyone help? {the lyrics are not word for word}. It begins with....... You told that you loved me baby and said there was no other man, everytime I saw talk to him you told me it just a dream. It's just the way you said I love you made me think that I was all wrong etc.... Dont you leave me baby no no dont you leave me baby.... I wanna cry 'cause I know you dont love me I wanna cry 'cause I know you need me{you dont want me} you dont want me.

Many thanks to anyone who may have replied especially to manc99 I have just discovered the song is on page 1 of the music pages and as indicated it is the epitome of sound, despite the fact that I have trawled these pages for nearly two years now.

Not sure BUT think EoS were a combo of "other artists" which happened a lot in the industry back in the day - saved having to pay union rates AND royalties - sounds familiar dunnit? Could be wrong blame it on my age ;D Still sounds fresh today tho, was played at "Soul Galore" April 2007 bash.
