Thanks to all involved at the Peg for ensuring I had a top night last night, my first visit but certainly not my last if this was anything to go by. I got there in good time to listen to an excellent selection of tunes from Biz, early doors but no doubt about it his choices would have gone down really well in a later spot. Next up Debbie, I'd never heard this young lady play before and she did a sterling job of getting the floor moving with a mix of Northern and R&B. Ian Seaman up next and he kept things moving along smoothly with an Across the Board set which set things up nicely for what for me was the icing on the cake. Steve Jay played a set which was perfect for my ears, gem after gem of modern loveliness, and heres what makes this place special, those that had grooved away earlier to Northern & R&B were just as happy to stay on the floor for Steves offerings, to me that showed an attitude that is open minded and extremely refreshing. Well worth the trip over and I look forward to further visits in the future. Thanks to Biz and his good lady Chris, BigDog, and everyone else who made me feel welcome.

Report by the Big Dog (punching above its weight?) if tonights attendance is anything to go by,not one bit of it!.over 100 soul afficionados attended the latest squeg offering to create a fabulous atmosphere in lincolnshires most unique of venues.dj line up included BIZ,debbieJ,ian seaman, steve J,and finally bogey&coops to provide a top quality eclectic mix of soul r&b and modern to quench the thirst of all who attended.soulies from a 75 mile radius ventured to sample the offerings presented to them and personally it is always a pleasure to see all djs concerned getting a good response to there sets.biz going solo for the 1st time got the evening off with a smooth toon set to give an often difficult early spot a bright start.(well done mate)then debbie J followed to produce a fluid and floorfilling set ,rarely achieved at this early hour ,but which set the tone for the rest of the night .ian seaman picked up the baton and ran with it and past it on to steve J who produced a set of rare and modern with great aplomb .finally bogie and coops ended the night with a floor filling set to end a memorable night.thanks go out to all you hardy souls who attended.your support is much valued and greatly appreciated, and personally a special mention to debbie.much vilified on certain threads, but you,ll do for me lass.top spot .and also biz on his deathbed with manflu but did his bit to help the cause.can it get any better?.we will have to see,
