For the 4th year in a row the mini-nighter at Willington was once again an integral part of my Christmas weeks in Derby. This venue is always a good one for underplayed modern and crossover at their regular monthlies on 3rd Saturdays, I've compared it as the Derby area's equivalent of Spalding, the mini-nighter format does bring in a few more oldies, making my ideal type of across the board mix. Sam Evans was a surprise addition to the DJ line up replacing Jo Wallace who wasn't well. Kenny Burrell was there as one of his last dates as he said he would be retiring from DJing in England. Other guests were Keith Money and Chris Anderton joining residents Rob Kay, Den Mac and Austin. Left just after 3am as it went into its last hour.
