Wow! 13th Feb came round quick! Wow! What a brill night too ;D 100 in attendance with a plethora of flyers from soul venues all over the place. Twas a charity fundraiser for Heart Unit @ Northern General Hospital and we raised £152 pence so many thanx to all who gave. Dancefloor rarely empty with many having a really gr8 fun time dancing to 4 soulful jocks who all did very nice spots indeed. Thanx to my 2 resident Keiths & the Brothers Mounsey from Mexbro Corner Pocket - lovely stuff throughout the night and a bit of varied soul for everyone without ANY repeat choons - just whats needed for a good, nay, brill soul night. ;D U really oughta give us a try no fuss no bull and nooooo egos! Check out next one 20th March @ Lyric, Dinnington S25

Hi Ash would love to see what your about but a bit far to travel, maybe next year when I am in the UK. What is the music you play is it across the board or mainly oldies??? great to see that you are getting people through the door.

Bloodyell m8 "a bit far to travel" ;D Yes its across the board but mainly (by demand) oldies and underplayed gems I thoroughly enjoyed Saturday which is unusual at my own events because I allus have to be "Mr Fix It Man", much easier attending other's venues ;D

Cheers for those who travelled furthest think it was Newark or Scunthorpe - anyhow u know who u are cheers again Overall a very interesting nite with a divorce a bereavement and 2 birthdays as well as a broken turntable to deal with - oh the joys of being a promoter PS: 1 of the birthdays was mine - feel like a tin of Heinz ;D

As above/ditto for Friday 1st October. The 2 resident Keiths plus Barry Holland Little Al and Paul Littlewood kept the floor busy with some gr8 choons that truely were across the board with lots of requests for underplayed oldies. Yours truely also "mooned" well it was for charity ;D Roll on 12th November - thanx for your continued support

Fri 12th Nov - a massively over subscribed soul night in and around Sheffield - there were 5 different venues on and 2 were FREE - yep 5 venues within 18 miles on same night Anyhow we had a belter in The Lyric. Was worried early doors with lack of turnout BUT an hour l8r and all was well. Obviously numbers were slightly down BUT those in had a gr8 time dancing chatting AND mooning ;D 2 guests DJs Steve Myers & Ray Copley did us proud with varied sets and my 2 resident Keith's added to the quality. A truely across the board night the way it should be. Thanx for continued support - travelling support from Kings Lynn & Newark too - many many thanx. Roll on Boxing Day can't wait Must mention support for Help For Heroes with all DJs chucking their fees in to the collection pot - gr8 gesture for a gr8 charity THANK YOU AGAIN

16th Anniversary on Boxing Day was a "decent" night. I say decent cos I was dog ruff poorly and there was a poor turnout compared to other nights this year . The "Route 61 Boys" Steve & Martin did us proud as did 2 resident Keiths. South Yorkshire Soul too much too many too often - happy new year all LOL ;D

Forgot to mention me old school mate Mick Wilde who had a stroke about 5 years ago, he showed up with wife Barbara and had themselves a good old time. I saw him venture onto dancefloor complete with walking stick and then ................he mooned from centre of floor, consequently Keith & I did a stereo moon back ;D Was brill to see an old, and unfortunate soulboy back out again - good on ya Mick!!! Hope to see you out and about again?
