What a fantastic night... the atmosphere from the minute you enter the bar area with cosy seating is something you don't always get, and through to a seperate dancing area. The music was spot on with not a bad tune played so if you like 70's onward you must go there. Its one of the best nights out I've had in months. Newarks Andy Jackson played a great set which is expected of him, he never fails. As did all of the dj's. Nice to see Alan (soulie)as well as lots of other friends. Next one is on July 25th. I'm going ;D

Great to see you there too Jo, nice review. I had done the mainly oldie-flavoured night at Peterborough's Right Track on Friday, so this venue became part 2 of a diverse weekend and I can conclude I've had the best of both worlds. It would have been hard to single out any DJ's set as a favourite, everyone had played something I enjoyed. All had played the whole "modern" range from 70s to today, and even a few of those 60s records that seem equally at home in a modern set, namely Love Guess Who and Running Back and Forth.
Looking forward to the July date already, Sam Evans will be back and guests to be Fish and Steve Austin.
