Hello everybody, I am a newbie here and have a dilemma. I am trying to find out the title and artist name for a song i heard many years ago. It used to be in a northern soul mixtape and now it's lost. The only thing i remember is that it was a woman singing, it was upbeat and it was about her leaving her man. She says 'I'm gone' a few times in the chorus and the last lines of the song, in the fadeout at the very end, are: bye bye baby, i'll send you a card from New York City, when i feel like it a golden star and BIG THANK YOU to whoever finds this out - it's driving me mad!! Thanks Faye

Oh dear, it looks like nobody knows what i'm talking about. Such a pity, I love that song! Do you know if there's any other forum i could go and ask?
Thank you!

Would love to put you out of your misery ! Tried to find it but ran out of hours in the day to play tracks I thought it could be. Welcome to the forum by the way.
