........ not the usual record, but am after a 'poster' size flyer from Wigan to frame up as a birthday prezzie for someone. Much as I would like an original one, I doubt this is possible, so any idea's??. TIA.

Thanks for that Midge TBH already seen that flea-bay one, but we thought the 'Add your own name as the star attraction' was a little 'cheesy'. I have got a few images of the original flyers, but when I tried to scan them up to poster size, they looked exactly what they were, ie naff photocopies!.

Probably not what you want But I did a similiar thing for a friend of mine (YES I do have at least one!!! well she was an friend of someone I knew slightly!!!) Anyhow used one of the full page ads in the Blues & Soul mag for the 2nd Anniversary (sorry sold all mine on ebay but there are always some for sale or maybe someone on the site has a copy) and had another aquaintance blow it up and sharpen the image to make a poster which I had framed. It was the dogs spherical objects. Sadly the friend lives in Canada now so can't copy it sorry!!!!

:)Sorry mate not technically minded to give any good advice although if I want to clean up scans I always I use 'Paint' because you can blow up small portions and smarten it up using the rubber and pencil etc.

Midge if you scan to A4 at 300dpi it can be printed photographically to 3 times the size with very little loss, in fact I have printed up to 30x20" from a 6x4" 300dpi for a customer and it was superb. I can clean the image with Photoshop for you if needed.

Thanks for the offer Nick (At least I think the offer is to me and not Midge? ) I did have an image of a 3rd Anniversary poster which would have been ideal, I printed it off (A4) and tried to enlarge on our office scanner, but as said it came out crap!.... Only problem now is I cant even find the Image!.
