Gospel Classics - fine choice Nick Chicago neo-political smooth soul 1968ish Bang on 1968 indeed and on a rare UK Chess CRS 8080. Manship says £150 on the common old Checker label nick ive got a chess uk one of these,i thouhgt they were worth less,happy to be wrong.tried to put a piccy of it up but no joy. played the bside,not my cup of tes tbh,

Have to agree with billysbag2 here Nick. Might have played the b side 40 years ago and if I get the chance to play it again in another 40 years I'll be a very lucky man!!! Tony C, what's the Lanier & Co. track you mention? I really like Farris Laniers vocals but I don't know this.

I really like Farris Laniers vocals but I don't know this. interesting this. i read soul45s comment and knew i had a lanier lp in the loft somewhere. dug it out to see if this track was on it. iy wasnt but "if i could build my world" is and thats really nice. even nicer when i didnt know it was there,if you get my drift.
