:)Been away from the site for a bit, but back with laugh ;D
:)A couple attending an art exhibition at the National Gallery were staring at a portrait that had them totally confused, the painting depicted three black men totally naked sitting on a bench. Two of the men had black penises but the one sitting in the middle had a pink pen-s".
The curator of the gallery realised the confused couple were having trouble interpreting the painting and so he offered his assessment.
He went on and on for nearly half an hour explaining how it depicted the sexual emasculation of African Americans in a predominantly white patriacle society, in fact he pointed out some serious critics believe that the pink pen-s reflected the cultural and social oppression expressed by gay men in a contemporary society.
Aahh!!! Nodded the couple.
After the curator left a shabby looking Scotsman approached the couple and said ‘I couldn’t help overhearing what the curator was saying but he is actually wrong, would you like to hear what that painting is really about’.
The couple frowned at him and said ‘how would you claim to know more about the painting than the curator of the National Gallery’
‘Because I’m the guy who painted it’ he replied ‘in fact there is no African American representation in the picture at all they are just three Scottish coal miners and the guy in the middle went home for lunch’
