Thought i,d seen this thread somewhere on here---last sat (22 nd March) i was staying at the Brocket Arms in Wigan (b4 and after the Orwell) and noticed on the bar --the pump clip --Legends--Eddie Holman--Night to Remember--so i had to (for research purposes) try 5 or 6 --IT WAS BRILLIANT--A.B.V.1042 same as my favorite tipple Taylors Landlord----as i was leaving i asked the young Bar manager type chap(he had a badge on) what it was all about and his reply was (and i quote) "I can tell by your accent you not from these parts,Eddie Holman was a famous rugby player for Wigan, many years ago!!!" Nowt like product knowledge is there!!!! regards Tony C.

Glad you enjoyed it anyway.

Well after a bit of a drought, two new ones on this week. Dean parrish 'Determination ' bitter & an Erma Franklin 'Abracadabra'. Bit dark that one, almost like a mild.
